Compassion International makes stop in Mississippi

CLINTON, Miss. (WJTV) – For decades, one Christian child sponsor organization has worked to release children from poverty.

On Saturday, Compassion International made a stop at Morrison Heights Baptist Church in Clinton. The organization works to help children in 29 different countries. They offer an immersive experience that allows people to see the different environments of the children they help.

“We can walk through the life of a child in extreme poverty, hear how their lives were changed from growing up in extreme poverty to now being adults that have been freed from poverty and are serving children all over the world themselves,” explained Joshua Farmer, a church partner representative with Compassion International…
