Many council members, including Attorney General Lynn Fitch, were not in attendance at Friday’s meeting in Jackson — technically the council’s second meeting after last week’s Zoom session was hacked and had to be rescheduled. A few participants joined virtually through a private connection, which at times made it difficult for them to communicate with the larger group in the room.

The council hammered out its priorities, application language and scoring rubric for the grant applications during the more than 2-hour meeting.
