JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jacksonians got the chance to experience a new local art event on Sunday. Friends, neighbors and art lovers gathered at Duling Hall for Nora’s Art Market.
“We were looking to fill our Sundays with either concerts or like community events. And we wanted to start a community event here. And so, we thought our market would do well. Normally markets are outside around town. So, this is a great opportunity to have something inside,” said Tommie Joe Barnett, Art Market coordinator.
The market was free to attend, and guests were encouraged do donate to the Animal Rescue Fund (ARF) of Mississippi, which supports rescue and adoption efforts for local pets…
