Jackson bans face masks in public places

JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) — Jackson city leaders voted to ban the wearing of masks in outdoor public spaces, including sidewalks, roads and alleyways.

The Jackson City Council approved the ordinance on Tuesday in a 7-0 vote, WLBT-TV in Jackson reported. It’s expected to go into effect immediately.
