JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Tenants at the Blossom Apartments could have a little more time to move out.
That’s according to Jackson Mayor John Horhn, who said he’s planning to reach out to U.S. District Judge Henry Wingate to see if the water at the embattled complex can remain on for a few more days, until all tenants can be relocated.
“We stepped in and asked Judge Wingate if we could have five days of having the water turned back on to give folks a chance to get their affairs in order. As you can see, it’s taking a little bit more than the five days. So, we will be requesting he extend that time,” he said…
