New $16M Program Brings Virtual Mental Health Support to Students in 17 Delta School Districts

JACKSON, Miss.–Students in seventeen Delta school districts will be able to take advantage of a new program to help preserve their mental well-being. Part of the partnership announced Wednesday by Gov. Tate Reeves between the Miss. Development Authority and Canopy Children’s Solutions, includes access to professionals on devices.

But, most of the plan is designed to promote mental health with lessons about self-care and emotional wellness.
