JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A national survey revealed the 220 most beloved businesses in America; two businesses in the Jackson metro made the list.

The state’s history with soda goes beyond Coca-Cola. Edward Barq developed Barq’s Root Beer in Biloxi; Coca-Cola acquired the brand in 1995. The Vicksburg Foundation for Historic Preservation owns and operates the museum.
