JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – It’s another “heat advisory” for your Sunday, from 10am until 8pm. The feels like temperatures could reach 110. Next week, we’re watching a weather system coming from the northeast. It will bring a cool front our way, which will help break up this heat and humidity. We’ll see the lower 90s by the weekend. Rain chances stay low, and storms will be hit-or-miss until that cool front drops in here.
In the tropics, we’re tracking major Hurricane Erin, which has been cycling between a Cat 4 and 5 with 150 to 160 mph winds. Erin is expected to remain a major hurricane, but stay offshore of the U.S. east coast. Erin will offer up high surf and windy conditions to eastern Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas…
