Jackson Mayor: No more extensions on water at Blossom Apartments

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – The clock is ticking for residents to move out of the Blossom Apartments.

That’s according to Jackson Mayor John Horhn, who said he will not ask a federal judge for any more extensions to keep water on at the troubled facility.

“When the seven-day extension, that second extension, has taken place and runs its course, we’re not asking the judge for another forbearance,” he said. “What we’re going to do now is pivot to ESG, which is emergency shelter grants.”
