HINDS COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – The Hinds County Board of Supervisors said they’re in the final stages of deliberation on next year’s budget, and a proposal for a one mill increase is under consideration.
If approved, the increase is projected to cost the average household approximately $1.60 more per month for a $200,000 home and about $2.00 more per month for a $250,000 home.
