Commissioner Willie Simmons, Chairman of the Mississippi Transportation Commission, has announced updates to several Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) projects across central Mississippi.
“Central Mississippi is seeing a boom in progress across all sorts of infrastructure improvement projects. Seeing so much work underway, with several projects wrapping up ahead of schedule, really makes this an exciting time for the entire region,” said Commissioner Simmons. “We understand that making this kind of significant improvement on state roads and bridges sometimes requires temporary hardships for drivers, but this is what progress looks like. I am proud of the amount of progress being made here.”
