Lindsey Wagon at the Two Mississippi Museums

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – There is a Lindsey Wagon at the Two Mississippi Museums in Jackson.

The wagon was invented by John Lindsey in 1899. They even have a patent of it at the museums.

“John Lindsey and his family were loggers, and they had a lumber mill. But the issue that they had is that the ways that they got logs to the mill didn’t work, as well,” said Kathryn Etre, director of Conservation for the Mississippi Department of Archives and History (MDAH).
