Thousand Man March held in the capital city

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – The Thousand-Man March started on Mill Street, where men and women marched to promote change in their communities.

Sidney McNeary was one of those marchers. He said, “Just bringing all of us together, I see a lot of familiar faces. I see a few of my students over here, and I just love to see the positivity. I love to see the change being made, and I love to see the effort being put in.”

Men, women, and children gathered outside the 440 Jackson Nightclub with one goal… calling for action in the African-American community to put an end to violence across the city of Jackson…
