FLORENCE, MISSISSIPPI – A Florence daycare worker is facing multiple charges after investigators say she abused children in her care.
The Rankin County Sheriff’s Department arrested Sharon Elaine Young on Tuesday, charging her with seven counts of contributing to the neglect of a child. Her arrest followed a week-long investigation into allegations of abuse at a Florence daycare facility where she was employed.
