CLINTON, Miss. — The Southeastern Louisiana University men’s and women’s cross country teams competed in its final pre-Southland Conference Championships meet Friday at the Watson College Classic at Choctaw Trails in Clinton, Miss.
The Lions finished in 14th place in the men’s standings. The Lady Lions only competed with three runners and didn’t take part in the team competition.
Tanner Salsman led SLU on the men’s side, finishing 44th with a time of 26:29.45 on the 8K course. Matthew Norman (27:50.24, 85th), Landen Schillage (27:52.81, 86th), D’Juan Joseph (29:33.66, 145th) and Matthew Berthelot (29:35.62, 146th) made up the rest of the Southeastern men’s contingent…
