JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Organizers of the 82nd National Folk Festival announced the Family Area programming.
The Family Stage will host a dynamic lineup of performances:
- Acme Miniature Flea Circus (Providence, RI via Barcelona, Spain)
- Vasti Jackson’s “The Soul of Jimmie Rodgers” (Hattiesburg, MS)
- Chief Shaka Zulu (New Orleans, LA)
- Oka Homma Alla Hilha Alhiha (Redwater, MS)
- Leaving Legacies (Jackson, MS)
Beyond the stage, children and families will be able to engage in a wide array of hands-on crafts, quiet and active games, and creative learning experiences.
