On October 20, 2025, Clinton Police responded to a shooting at 907 Cedar Hills Drive. Officers found 45-year-old Jasmine Singleton dead from multiple gunshot wounds. Witnesses reported seeing a gold Chevrolet Tahoe leaving the scene. Police later identified the vehicle as belonging to Singleton’s ex-boyfriend, 42-year-old Carlton D. Mack.
