JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Renovations at Jackson’s municipal auditorium are slated to wrap up by the end of the year.
That’s according to Mayor John Horhn, who gave lawmakers an update on the project at a Senate committee meeting earlier this week.
“We already have at least nine bookings for Thalia Mara Hall starting this January. Young Jeezy is the first act that’s coming to town,” he said. “I don’t know who Young Jeezy is, but they tell me he’s pretty famous, and that he’s going to be the one to reopen Thalia Mara.”…
