On Monday, November 3, 2025, officers from the Pearl Police Department’s Special Operations Division located and arrested 26‑year‑old Natzaveen Vaughn in Pearl. Vaughn was the subject of a capital murder warrant issued by the Jackson Police Department. According to police, Vaughn was the second suspect arrested in the shooting death of 39‑year‑old Quinton Boggan, which occurred in late October in the city of Jackson.
The victim was found dead from a gunshot wound in the 2100 block of Thousand Oaks Drive. Investigators believe the shooting took place during an attempted robbery, with Vaughn and 18‑year‑old Christopher Nicholson identified as the two suspects. Nicholson was arrested earlier and also charged with capital murder.
According to the Pearl Police Department, the arrest was conducted without incident.
