JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson firefighters responded to a duplex fire on November 11, 2025.
The fire happened at a duplex in the 2000 block of Cooperwell Drive just before 10:30 a.m.
Joint drug investigation leads to arrest of Rankin County man
According to Division Fire Chief Charles Felton, crews saw smoke and flames coming from the home when they arrived at the scene. They had to force their way into the home. No injuries were reported.
Felton said crews could not determine the origin or the cause of the fire, and a fire investigator was requested.
