Teachers across various JPS schools earn $96,500 in grants from Junior League of Jackson

JANS – Jackson Public Schools is thankful to the Junior League of Jackson (JLJ) and the Community Foundation for Mississippi for investing $96,500 in teachers’ ideas and scholars’ growth.

Through the Public School Mini-Grants Program, 18 projects across numerous schools will come to life, from launching an E-sports collaborative and expanding hands-on STEM learning to building Jim Hill High School’s new theatre department and enhancing sensory spaces for the youngest learners.
