Crime Stoppers seeks leads in Copiah County homicide case

COPIAH COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Copiah County deputies and Central Mississippi Crime Stoppers are seeking assistance from the public to help solve the case in the death of Floyd Alex Rosamond.

On August 11, 2021, Copiah County deputies responded to Rosamond’s address on Earl Knight Road, where he was found deceased. His death was initially called in as a suicide, but investigators later ruled the case as a homicide.

Jackson councilman proposes ordinance to ban ties to illegal drugs

Anyone with information that leads to an arrest could be eligible for up to a $2,500 from Central Mississippi Crime Stoppers and a $10,000 donation from family members.
