RIDGELAND, Miss. (WJTV) – Work is moving forward on Ridgeland’s new fire station and training facility.
The station, located at 572 North Livingston Road, was designed by Dean Architecture and is being built by Benchmark Construction. The pad for the training facility has been poured, and the structure is now being raised. At the Station No. 5 building site, plumbing work is underway.

According to city leaders, the training facility is expected to be finished around January 2026, and Fire Station No. 5 is expected to be complete by October 2026.
The city will move into and begin operating from the property once both the station and training facility are fully complete.
