JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after a person was found deceased from a gunshot wound.
Hinds County Sheriff and Jackson Police Chief Tyree Jones said Andrew Knight, Jr., 49, was found in the 5700 block of Gault Street on November 24, 2025.
“That’s what it appears, that he may have been trying to flee or trying to get away from a possible suspect. Due to the evidence, we believe that he was shot near this location, and he collapsed on the front porch at this residence,” said Jones…
