Restaurants are typically closed on Thanksgiving, but some in the area will welcome diners on the holiday.
Most spots in the Jackson area that are open on Thanksgiving are chain restaurants, but there are some local favorites in the mix, too.
This year, Thanksgiving is Thursday, Nov. 27.
