One of my daily routines is to start my day sitting on my deck soaking up the bright, beautiful glow in the eastern sky of another Mississippi day, listening to the melodious sounds of the birds, having a quiet time with Almighty God and singing. Yes, I love to talk with God and then sing some old hymns and some of the new praise hymns to Him. Recently, while sitting on the deck and thinking about this Thanksgiving devotional, one my favorite new praise songs popped in my mind.
