Archie calls on city to seek restraining order against JXN Water in face of ongoing billing issues

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A former Hinds County supervisor is calling on the city of Jackson to seek a restraining order against JXN Water, in the wake of continued billing concerns from residents.

David Archie appeared before the City Council on Tuesday, where he spoke out against JXN Water for ignoring residents’ billing issues.

“I got a call yesterday from an elderly woman, who just had brain surgery… is on dialysis, fighting an over $5,000 water bill,” he said. “The citizens of Jackson did not create this problem. Government did. Government is supposed to protect the people.”…
