JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) -Once the front passes, a surge of northerly winds will sweep cooler, drier air into the region. As a result, today’s highs will hold in the low to mid-50s, and tonight is expected to be the coldest of the week, with Tuesday morning temperatures dipping into the low 30s.
By midweek, the pattern shifts again as warmer air builds back in, pushing afternoon highs in the upper 60s and low 70s by Thursday. Another front arrives shortly after, setting the stage for a return to cooler conditions heading into the weekend…
