RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – The man accused of attacking a realtor at an open house in Rankin County has died.
Rankin County Sheriff Bryan Bailey said Jerry Glynn Dennis died on December 1, 2025, from natural causes at a hospital. The sheriff said Dennis was still in the custody of the Rankin County Sheriff’s Office, but he had been hospitalized for medical issues.
Dennis was accused of attacking a realtor in the 100 block of Cedar Ridge Boulevard on July 1, 2025. Bailey said the victim told investigators that she was getting ready for an open house event at the location. She stated that a man, who was identified as Dennis, came inside the home and said he was there for the open house.
