RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A Rankin County house fire is under investigation for arson.
The fire occurred at a home on Burch Road in Rankin County on December 9, 2025.
“The vehicle was a total loss, but the house was only partially burned. We did have one firefighter from one of the fire departments received some minor burns to his hand. He was released from the scene. Back to work, and everything is going to be okay with that,” said Brian Grantham, director of the Rankin County EMA.
