JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A man was found guilty in connection to a shooting that injured two people at a Waffle House in Jackson.
Hinds County District Attorney Jody Owens said Marco Lewis was found guilty of attempted murder, aggravated assault and convicted felon in possession of a firearm.

On March 4, 2022, Jackson police responded to the Waffle House on Larson Street. When they arrived, officers discovered Julian Hill suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his body. Marlon Daniels had been shot in the leg.
According to Owens, a witness identified Lewis as the shooter, stating that he fled the scene. Investigators later learned that Lewis had shot the two victims following an argument.
