Jackson woman sentenced 10 years in fraud case

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A Jackson woman has received her sentence following a fraud charge, Attorney General Lynn Fitch announced Thursday.

According to officials, Kiana Rochelle Cooper, who was an employee of LoanMax Title Loans, “knowingly filed fraudulent loans using the stolen personal identity information of others.”

After an investigation and prosecution conducted by the Mississippi Attorney General’s Office, Cooper was charged on one count of false pretenses…
