JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – The annual Homestead for the Holidays returned to the Mississippi Ag Museum on Thursday.
Organizers said they plant this event months in advance. They look forward to keeping the same festivities that families can enjoy.

“We wanted to do something for the community. And so each year, we have breakfast or supper, and we have a reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas’ with Thomas Schools. And then we have Santa Claus who comes and shares with the kids, and they tell him what they want for Christmas,” said Theresa Love, executive director of the Mississippi Ag Museum.
She said seeing the holiday spirit be passed down through generations is what the event is all about…
