Mississippi — A raw north wind sweeps across central Mississippi, rattling bare branches and cutting through coats as winter tightens its grip. The cold feels sharper than earlier this month, and conditions are turning hazardous fast for anyone heading out early.
According to the National Weather Service in Jackson, a Cold Weather Advisory is in effect from this evening through 9 a.m. Monday.
