With temperatures expected to drop to dangerous levels in the coming days, the City of Jackson is working with community partners to provide emergency shelter for residents experiencing homelessness.
Cold, Arctic air will move into the area over the weekend and cause a deep freeze for the state Monday morning. In Jackson, it is forecast to get as low as 22 degrees on Monday.
