JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after a 17-year-old was found deceased from a gunshot wound.
The incident occured in the 200 block of Rebelwood Drive on December 14, 2025.
19-year-old killed in Rankin County crash
Hinds County Sheriff and Jackson Police Chief Tyree Jones said the manner of death for the teen is under investigation, pending further information.
Jones said the Hinds County coroner also responded to the scene. He said no further information would be released at this time.
