JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson City Councilman Kenneth Stokes, Ward 3, stressed the importance of following city ordinances.
He said allowing fire-damaged buildings and vandalized properties to stay in place breaks several ordinances and destroys the value of the capital city.
“We cannot continue to allow businesses to leave Jackson because of the conditions of these neighborhoods. We cannot allow these neighborhoods to keep going down,” Stokes said…
