JFD battles house fires on Fontaine Avenue

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Two Jackson homes caught on fire off of Fontaine Avenue on Wednesday morning.

The Jackson Fire Department responded to a call late Wednesday morning about a fire at a two-story home. According to Chief Charles Felton, radiant heat from the initial fire caused a neighboring house to also burn. Both homes were reported as empty by on-scene fire units. Officials reported no injuries.
