The Ridgeland Recreation and Parks Department is offering its annual Christmas Tree recycling Program again this year.
After Christmas, residents of Ridgeland may drop their tree off at Freedom Ridge Park. The city will receive trees starting on Dec. 29 and take them through Jan. 9.
Those dropping off trees are asked not to put their trees in bags. Park officials ask that trees be bare. All lights, ornaments, stands and nails must be removed, or the trees will not be picked up…
