JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – The Jackson Police Department announced the death of Officer Robert L. Myers on Saturday.
In a Facebook post, Chief of Police and Hinds County Sheriff Tyree Jones wrote with high regard of Myers’ service to the Jackson community “for over three years with dedication, professionalism, and honor.”
Jones described Myers as “a valued member of this department” and that “his dedication to duty and willingness to serve others exemplified the values of the Jackson Police Department.”…
