JACKSON — A 2-year-old girl was killed in a vehicle accident Tuesday in the 3700 block of Bailey Avenue, according to the Jackson Police Department.
Police said the child was struck by a vehicle driven by her mother as she was leaving an apartment complex. The child was taken by private vehicle to a local hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
