JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson firefighters said two people were found deceased inside a home during a fire. The incident occurred in the 1400 block of Regina Street around 10:30 a.m. on December 29, 2025.

According to Division Fire Chief Charles Felton, units received information that there was possible entrapment inside the home. They conducted a primary search and found two victims. Felton said the victims have not been identified.
After the fire was extinguished, the origin and cause could not be determined. A fire investigator was requested to determine the cause of the fire. Felton said no other injuries were reported.
