Mississippi lawmaker wants action against food deserts

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – State Rep. Justis Gibbs (D-District 72) wants to pass a bill that would combat Mississippi’s food deserts.

According to Feeding America, one out of five people in Mississippi face hunger.
