RAYMOND — The Raymond Fire Department is urging residents to refrain from outdoor burning due to extremely dry conditions and an increase in brush fires across Hinds County.
This happened several hours after the City of Clinton announced that they issued a burn ban on Thursday.
Fire officials said that while Hinds County is not currently under an official burn ban, the risk of fire spread remains high.
