Council approves resolution outlining changes it wants to see with JXN Water

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A resolution outlining changes some Jackson city leaders would like to see with JXN Water is on its way to a federal judge.

On Tuesday, the Jackson City Council approved the non-binding measure, which includes several changes the members would like to see taken to improve JXN Water’s operations, including extending the hours for customer service.

The measure was approved on a 4-1 vote, with Ward One Councilman Ashby Foote being the lone no vote…
