CRYSTAL SPRINGS, Miss. (WLBT) – When Jesse Brown’s child care vouchers expired in November, the father of three faced an impossible choice: find new daycare or quit his job to watch his children.
“When it was cut, the bottom fell out,” Brown said. “My wife, she panics a little more than I panic… I had to get another job, two jobs actually. It’s taken away time from my children.”
Instead, the daycare center his children attend offered a third option: community-funded Kingdom vouchers that keep his kids in class while he works two jobs to make ends meet…
