JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after a man was found deceased from a gunshot wound.
Jackson Police Chief and Hinds County Sheriff Tyree Jones said the victim, who was in his late 40s, was found in the 400 block of Wilshire Avenue in Jackson on January 14, 2026. The victim has not been identified.
