A steel-toed boot is being credited by police with preventing injury during a road rage shooting at a Chick-fil-A in Flowood, Mississippi, according to authorities.

The Flowood Police Department reported that the shooting occurred Saturday night at the restaurant. Police said the victim had pulled into the Chick-fil-A when the incident unfolded. During the encounter, the victim was shot in the foot.
