JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – One of Extra Table’s annual programs will return in 2026.
Driven by the mayors of more than 55 cities across Mississippi, March of the Mayors is a statewide canned food drive. Each participating city will begin collecting a particular food item on January 26, 2026, and collection runs through February 27, 2026.
The following week, Extra Table will host five food-box packing parties in five cities.
- Delta: March 2
- Northeast Mississippi: March 3
- Jackson-metro: March 4
- Pine Belt: March 5
- Coast: March 6
