Jackson celebrates MLK Day with parade

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – The Martin Luther King, Jr., Birthday Celebration Parade returned to Jackson on Saturday with a message of unity and purpose.

Families lined the streets for the parade. There were bands and dance teams from across the city, while city leaders joined the crowd. U.S. Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) was the grand marshal.
